Eternal life is that divine quality of life that has been given
to us from heaven because we have believed in His only Son Jesus
for our salvation. It is faith that brings us into this divine
eternal substance of life. It is faith that will make that life
a continual stream within us flowing forth to touch others. Faith
releases that manifestation of eternal divine life. We are to
continually be partaking of that life through His great and precious
promises. We are constantly crossing over into new Kingdom discoveries
and territory, the realities of heaven in this life. It is a life
that is moving from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord.
Through a continual entrance into His courts by the blood of His
covenant in faith we are in a journey of experiential transformation
becoming more and more like Jesus because we are continually seeking
and seeing His face.
Psalm 46:4-5
There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city
of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High. God
is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help
her, and that right early.
John 7:38-39
He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart
will flow rivers of living water." 39 But this He spoke concerning
the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the
Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
Jesus manifested eternal life, the life of heaven. When He delivered
people from demons, healed the sick, spoke the living Word from
the Living Father people encountered the Kingdom of Heaven. They
touched and experienced eternal life. This does not mean they
entered into that life. But because they experienced the reality
by manifestation of divine life they could believe in Jesus and
then enter into eternal life. It is the experience of His Presence
that causes us to believe.
John 6:44
No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him;
and I will raise him up at the last day.
It is the experience of the heart that one believes and enters
into the Kingdom. It is not by intellectual pursuits or methods
of convincing. It is only by the drawing of the Spirit and of
the Father that one may believe in Jesus and enter into a new
realm of divine life. Jesus manifest divine life and then said
things the eliminated the crowds even though they experienced
the reality. So Jesus never tried to convince anyone the He was
who He was. He just told them straight out whom He was and gave
them the proofs of His divinity, which were the miracles and wonders
that He performed. The things He said to the Pharisees and religious
people were not in any way words that would help to bring them
“in His favor”. He was confrontational. He said hard
things like “you must eat my flesh and drink my blood!”
These were the kind of things that Jesus said that made it difficult
and offensive to people to follow Him.
But those who did believe believed because of the evidences and
manifestation of the Kingdom through His words and deeds, not
because He was trying to build a kingdom on earth. He did nothing
to please men but only His Father. He spoke the words that His
Father gave Him to speak. For those who believed, they entered
into eternal life in the Kingdom of God. For those who believe
they are to continually experience this quality of life.
Isaiah 12:3
Therefore with joy you will draw water
From the wells of salvation.
It is the manifestation of His Presence that stirs our desire
for more of Him. Continually draw from His Life today. Find the
eternal qualities of His Kingdom manifest in you and to others
by demonstration of that eternal life – peace, joy, love,
hope, faith, healing, miracles, wonders – breaking out of
the limitations of this life into the unlimited resources of His
Kingdom Realm.
