Freedom from the Machinations of Man
In a dream I saw machines that man had made. These
machines were made for competition and exaltation
of flesh. In each of these machines there would
be a person with a "fleshly" body build
that was completely controlled by the machine. This
machine was made to exalt the person as high as
possible. The people who were controlled by these
machines had no ability to make their own decisions
because the mechanics of the machine were completely
integrated in their flesh, as if being "one"
with the machine. There was another machine where
another person began to get in it is the same way
the others had and he quickly backed out suddenly
realizing that he would be permantly crippled if
he let the machine lock him into it. This man then
breaking free from the machine turned around seeing
a woman behind him and asked, "what is this
all about!". The woman giggled denying any
involvement in it and claiming ignorance. Immediately
the man was taken to a great white library of revelation
where the Holy Spirit was waiting for him to arrive.
This library was vast and the purist of white light
permeated this library. This was the place of simplicity
of devotion to Christ where revelation flowed freely
without hinderance.
Deadly Contraptions
The
carnal man creates contraptions to foster his own
agenda. In the same way that the tower of Babel
was built that man could make a “name”
for himself, so many build things to exalt themselves.
(Genesis 11:9) Those who live by the power of the
Spirit cannot live within these man made institutions.
Just as David could not wear Saul’s armor
so those dependent on the Spirit cannot fulfill
the call of God within the structures and devices
of man. (I Samuel 17:39) Many of the things man
creates come out of the motive of being “the
best” or looking good. Out of a spirit of
competition and performance the flesh-motivated
person strives and works hard to be somebody.
The
Holy Spirit dominated life cannot operate in such
systems and devices. These things will end up crippling
even the one who knows and loves the anointing of
God. Religious political structures, the machines
of man, built around those wanting to build their
own kingdom will damage the person surrendered to
the life of the Spirit.
If
the person living in the life of the Spirit attempts
to work within these man made devices birthed out
of the flesh and kept running by the flesh they
will end up hurt, wounded and potentially permantly
disabled. This does not mean that all structure
is bad. But structures birthed and maintained by
the flesh will only cause destruction and disablement.
Many are birthed in the Spirit then become machines
that are now maintained by the flesh.
Jeremiah 17:5
Thus says the LORD:
"Cursed is the man who trusts in man
And makes flesh his strength,
Whose heart departs from the LORD."
The
White Room of Revelation
The
Lord has a place of solitude prepared for those
who love Him. It is the great white library of the
Spirit. The Holy Spirit has vast treasures of revelation
just waiting to be discovered. But those who are
“entangled” by the machinations of man
will be wrapped up and distracted from this great
library that God desires to reveal. Yes, we can
experience the anointing and presence of God outside
of this room. But those distracted by religious
performance and programs will not discover these
true riches of revelation.
Hebrews
12:1
"Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by
so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every
weight, and the sin that so easily ensnares us, and
let us run with endurance the race that is set before
us."
Revelation
is to inspire, motivate and compel us into action
that flows out of our being with Him and being in
Him. So it is imperative that we experience this library
of the Spirit to grow into what God has called us
to. It is a higher place of experiential knowledge.
This is not in the context of “doing”
but by “being” in this room we are able
to integrate the substance of revelation into our
hearts. Then it will begin to flow out of us by virtue
of the impartation and communion of the Spirit.
Positioning is Vital
How
we are positioned in the Body is vital to what we
are able to receive from the Lord. We cannot be the
puppets of any man. We are not called to build men’s
kingdoms. The Kingdom of God is the only kingdom we
are to be building. A slight change in how we position
ourselves can make a huge difference in our level
of communication with God, how we are able to receive
from the Lord and will affect our depth of experience
with Him. Being in the right position will enable
us to be effective in His Kingdom purposes.
Deeper Waters
There
will come a day when we will all stand before God
and give account for our own choices. So we must
be true to what the Lord shows us to do. Setting
aside the opinions of man we must be true to our
convictions. The Lord desires to take us to deeper
waters in Him but we must be willing to do the things
He tells us that will take us to the next level
in experience with Him.
In His Everlasting Love,

A REFLECTION ON THIS E-MAIL
This is a very difficult subject. I was even a
little apprehensive about sending it out. I really
like to keep words on an "UP" note as
much as possible. And there is a bright side to
it - thus the place of a pure and clean connection
with God. I can really only speak for myself because
the Holy Spirit guides us individually. But we must
know that if we do have a choice to remove ourselves
from an abusive legalistic controlling situations,
we can re-position ourselves still honoring those
involved even though they may not understand. The
key is not to "kick the cat" by pointing
fingers, but to really bring the focus on what is
best for you as a child of God. Then extend grace
to them. But in moving your position you will actually
have a clearer focus to pray for the individuals
involved after a time of healing has occured. Everyone's
situation is different and has various dynamics
that affect these decisions. But I know the Lord
wants us in a place where we can receive His love
and "know" in experience His love for
us. So it is many times when we get into the mechanics
of religion that love is lost. But there is love
and relationship outside of these abusive machines.
Accountablity is found in "friendships"
and those who have sincere caring hearts. If this
freindship or nuture does not exist in the relationships
we are accountable to they are illegitimate. In
the Book of Hebrews it mentions "submitting
to those who have the RULE over you". One of
the root words of this word "rule" is
freindship. There are actually about 12 words you
can choose. But King James was a "king".
So thus, rule was chosen as the word to use. But
it has been used in the church to control people
into a false guilt to submit to abusive leadership
and etc for a long time. The Lord wants to bring
us into a place where we live "in Him"
continually experiencing and knowing the Father's
Love for us, walking in His love toward one another
out of that place of intimacy with Him. The revelation
that causes so much abuse is the lack of understanding
the Father's heart for people. It is the Father-child
relationship that makes a church a safe place. This
is exactly what the Pharisees and teachers of the
law could not understand when Jesus referred to
God as His Father. They could not connect with what
Jesus said because it is a "heart-relationship".
It is to be the same with us. We are to have such
a revelation of the Father's heart that only healing
can flow though us. We can only give what we have
received. So if we receive the Father's love we
can also give it.
Grace and Peace,
John |
